2008 Vice President's Workshop
Drive-in Thursday, December 4... Hilton at Easton

ICAA is hosting a Vice Presidents' Drive-in Workshop on Thursday, December 4 at the Hilton in Columbus (at Easton) from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Guest facilitator will be Thad Henry, CFRE, presenting on “Transformational Philanthropy.”

Cost is $55 per person (includes sessions, continental breakfast, and buffet lunch). A conference rate of $169 per room (single or double occupancy) applies for our ICAA group on Wednesday, December 3 (there are also many other lodging options in the area). Thad Henry, CFRE, has been involved in higher education administration since 1982. He attended the University of Rhode Island for one year and then joined a volunteer service agency to provide ministry for troubled youth in Indianapolis. He graduated from Barrington College, where he also provided service as a graduate after joining a national consulting firm, Dagley Associates. He has served on the president’s cabinet as a vice president or assistant to the president of various institutions since 1984 and continues this role while serving as an executive-in-residence and as a consultant for various colleges and universities. Henry has lead highly effective operations in fundraising, as well as admissions and student recruitment. He also holds a master’s degree in higher education administration. Some of his awards, accomplishments and activities include CASE Circle of Excellence Award – Best Development Office – Alderson-Broaddus College – 1992; CASE Circle of Excellence Award – Best Development Operation – William Jewell College – 2000; West Virginia National Society of Fundraising Executives – Fundraiser of the Year – 1992; Greater Kansas City Council on Philanthropy - Fundraiser of the Year – 2000; Key Note Speaker – “Spirituality and Fundraising” – Numerous Occasions; Faculty -- Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) Survey Course; Faculty – Columbia University, NYC – Masters in Fundraising Management; Faculty – University of New Haven – Masters Programs – Leadership and Team Building; Volunteer Fundraiser and Century Cycle Rider – Leukemia and Lymphoma Society; Workshops: Transformational Philanthropy, Leadership and Team Building, and numerous fundraising topics.
