The location for the 2010 Summer Conference is a new venue for ICAA! We are pleased to be working with Sawmill Creek Resort and Conference Center, which we know will become a new favorite destination. Located on the shore of Lake Erie between Toledo and Cleveland and just outside the quaint town of Huron, the lodge staff has been great to work with so far and we anticipate all the ingredients will come together for another fantastic ICAA Summer Conference! This event marks the 52nd year for ICAA!

Important! It is necessary for you to make your ROOM RESERVATION directly with the lodge! Rates are $145 per night (conference discount) and hotel reservations must be made by July 9th (we just got this extended from July 3rd to July 9th, so please make your reservations a.s.a.p.!). Please contact the hotel directly by dialing 800-SAWMILL (729-6455) or do it online at https://www.sawmillcreek.com/lodge1.html. Be sure to ask for the special ICAA conference rate and inform them you represent a tax-exempt organization to avoid some (not all) of the tax. See below for more tax-exempt details... Note: July 9 is the guaranteed last date for our special rate. After that, rooms are on a first-come, first-serve basis and may be a higher rate.

The lodge reservations director has provided us with their policy regarding tax-exempt forms: 1.) Those with tax-exempt business credit cards and tax-exempt forms will be processed at check-out without any issues. 2.) If an institution does not provide their staff with tax-exempt business credit cards, they can do one of two things: Use the tax-exempt form with a company check, or pay cash. The other option is to have someone from their accounting office, who does have a business credit card, call the lodge ahead of time and provide billing information for the room charges. The lodge will not grant tax-exempt status if someone simply has a tax-exempt form and wants to pay with a personal credit card.

***This is Sold Out!*** Nationally known author, Jayne Garrett, a professional certified executive coach, will present ChangeWorks!®--A Professional Development Workshop, on Thursday afternoon during the conference. The ICAA special price for this add-on workshop is $28 per person. The ChangeWorks!® is an instrument that individuals can use to determine how prepared they are for change. The $28 fee covers the cost of completing the ChangeWorks!® pre-conference inventory, which must be done by Wednesday, July 7. Upon registering for this add-on workshop, Jayne Garrett will contact you directly by e-mail to share pre-conference materials with you, as well as, explain the workshop. Join friends and peers for an interactive discussion with Professional Certified Coach Jayne Garrett to explore personal and group attitudes and activities critical to our institutional missions and our personal success and fulfillment in the work place. This session will enable you to take home ideas, suggestions and learnings around crucial career issues you encounter daily.
