Call for Summer Conference Presenters
Did you attend a session that inspired you to want to present?
We are looking for educational programming for the 2024 summer conference. ICAA members want to hear what you are doing that is positively impacting your advancement area.
Apply to present at Summer Conference!
Past and first-time presenters, co-presented sessions, and referrals of non-ICAA member presenters are welcome to submit proposals. Your participation is key to offer a wide range of programming.
Below are a few topics that our members are always interested to hear about:
- Affinity-based Alumni Engagement and Giving
- Annual Giving
- Campaign Management
- Major and Principal Gifs
- Donor Relations and Stewardship
- Peer-to-peer Fundraising
- Student Philanthropy
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes for Q&A.

- How many years have you been a member of ICAA? Of the executive committee?
- I attended my first Summer Conference in 2015 and then volunteered on the marketing committee for the 2016 Summer Conference. From 2017 to present day I have been the registration chair for SC. I joined the board in 2017-2018 and became the webmaster for many years and have also served as treasurer and now a member-at-large.
- What is your favorite ICAA event of the year?
- My favorite event of the year is definitely Summer Conference. As the registration chair, I get to see as everyone signs up and I love sitting at the check in table and getting to greet everyone as they arrive and match names with new faces!
- What is your favorite ICAA memory?
- There are far too many to just pick one. From dinner cruises in Pittsburgh to Mardi Gras décor in Toledo (if you know, you know), I really look forward to Summer Conference every July because I have made so many good friends over the years and I can't wait to reconnect!
- What is a fun fact about you?
- When I'm not focused on the world of Institutional Advancement, I bake and sell cakes!

Promotions & New Hires
Jennifer N. Schuller was recently named president of Lake Erie College in Painsville, OH. Schuller is the first woman president in 75 years to lead the institution.
Walsh University welcomes Dr. Eric Constant as vice president of philanthropy.
